White Harvest Energy is excited to announce our contract to provide professional services to complete the CHP System at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in Manchester, NH. In 2015, the VA Medical Center in Manchester, NH suspended the construction of a new Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system due to conflicts with another construction project. The CHP project was nearly 90% complete when it was suspended. The VAMC installed a Caterpillar 740 kW gas generator and heat recovery steam generator (HRSG). The goal is to assess the condition of the installed equipment, review the status of the construction progress, review the design to ensure the system meets the latest building codes and evaluate the economic return to the VAMC to complete the project.
As a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business, White Harvest is pleased to help the VAMC meet its commitment to use and support veteran-owned businesses. Our hope is this innovative energy solution will lead to a better and more efficient healthcare facility and that the medical center may continue to serve the veteran community well into the future.
